This recipe is to prepare quick lunch or snack and takes only about 5 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 fresh key lime
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- ½ teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of almond oil
- 2 pre prepared flour tortilla
- 2 teaspoons of ghee
Prepare the avocado:
Cut the avocado vertically in half and remove the seed. Then, cut each half vertically at the center and chop the four pieces in to small cubes.
Prepare the seasoning:
In a small bowl add the almond oil, sea salt, ground black pepper.
Mix avocados with seasoning:
Toss the freshly cut avocado in to the bowl and squeeze fresh key lime juice on it.
Turn the avocado in the bowl until all cubes are covered with the seasoning and keep aside.
Heat the tortilla:
Place the tortilla on a non-stick hard anodized pan and spread a thin coat of ghee on each side of the tortilla. Heat the tortilla on medium heat constantly turning it on each side to avoid burning, until it becomes crisp.
There are two ways to enjoy this tasty avocado mix:
- Break the crispy tortilla into small pieces and mix with the seasoned avocados, this turns it in to a scrumptious salad.
- If the tortillas are not crispy break a small piece and make a pocket out of it to grab the avocado mix before taking each bite.
